Moščenička Draga
Mošćenička Draga is small fisherman village, situated under the hilltop town of Mošćenice. The municipality of Mošćenička Draga covers the area from Cesara bay (Medveja) all the way to the village of Zagore. It has 7 pebble beaches and numerous hiking and walking trails. It is very mountainous and covers 63 km². The area cuts deeply into the Učka Nature Park. The old town was formed at the end of 19th century when the inhabitants of the town of Mošćenice and surrounding villages moved down to the coast due to fishing. Mošćenička Draga developed as a fishing harbour of the town of Mošćenice, which was written in the records from 1436., mentioning a settlement on the harbour near St. Marina. One of the characteristic signs of Mošćenička Draga is definitely its breathtaking pebble beach, one of the most attractive beaches on the Adriatic coast. It's no wonder that Mediterranean climate, clear sea, beautiful nature and hospiatlity of hosts attract tourists from all over the world.
